I make photographs with a focus on moody minimalism and quiet stories. I’m drawn to moments most people overlook — small details, simple structures, and the calm that exists in between. My work moves between architecture, street life, people, wildlife, and abstract forms, guided by emotion, geometry, silence, and light.
I started photography in 2010 while working as a PA to the Ambassador of Indonesia in Fiji. The camera became part of my daily routine, and it stayed with me. In 2018, I studied at the New York Institute of Photography to deepen my understanding. I’m now based in Vancouver, continuing to practice and refine my eye.
I don’t see photography as a competition. There’s no right or wrong — just timing, instinct, and how each person sees the world. I want people to look at my images and feel something, or learn something, even if it’s small.
My goals are simple: keep growing, share what I know, travel, and maybe one day make a living from the work. For now, I shoot because it keeps me present and connected.
Gear I use
I work with a Fujifilm X‑T2 and a small set of XF lenses — the 27 mm pancake, 18‑55 mm, 35 mm, and 50‑140 mm — chosen for their balance of simplicity and precision. I use filters from K&F Concept and Prism FX to shape light and atmosphere without overpowering the scene. For motion and field work, I also shoot with a GoPro Hero 10 Black, paired with selective lenses and filters. My tools are straightforward and intentional, letting me stay quiet, present, and focused on timing, geometry, and emotion.
